A formwork system is only as strong as its locking elements. Geoplast developed its formwork system with a very clear and simple concept in mind: “Use as few different elements as possible”. Each Geoplast locking handle has a final tensile strength of 1.20 tonnes. This outstanding performance makes the formwork system robust and very reliable.
Geoplast Formwork is a professional tool aligned according to international standards. For concrete casting please follow the rate of rise diagram to establish the pour speed. Only immersion concrete vibrators (pokers) are allowed. Geoplast Formwork is designed for easy manual handling. Crane handling is nevertheless possible; for such cases use the Geoplast Lifting Hook to lift panel assemblies. In case of single panels always use lifting slings making sure that no panel or element may fall while suspended.
Geopanels are manufactured using ABS plastic which is particularly smooth and non-porous material on which concrete has difficulty adhering.
After each use remove any concrete buildup with a brush and clean the formwork with regular water. In case of old concrete residues that are difficult to remove use release agents based on vegetable oils. Do not use Benzene.
